Despite of the urging necessity of having system password configured in Dynamics GP, system admins have always complained about the behavior of the system password, which keeps popping up when opening administrative screens.
Here is the commonly known system password window:
The system password window has been considered quite annoying since it always pops up asking for password entry.
Now in Dynamics GP 2018, the standard behavior of system password has changed. There is no need to enter the password more than one time throughout your login session. So it will pop up for one time asking for the system password.
It's important to mention that Dynamics GP system password is stored in the Dynamics DB, in the "SY02400" which is the system password master table.

GP Power Tools adds this feature to all versions of Dynamics GP from GP 2010 onwards.
