It is with pleasure that I am sharing two great and newly published books for Dynamics GP on two diverse and essential topics. The first book is Real World Business Intelligence with Microsoft Dynamics GP By MVPs; Belinda Allen and Mark Polino and the second one is Microsoft Dynamics GP Workflow 2.0 by MVP Ian Grieve .
I had the honor to be involved int he review process of the two books which are now available. I do recommend them as valuable references and great additions to your Microsoft Dynamics GP library.
Real World Business Intelligence with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a collection of real Microsoft Dynamics GP user examples. Using one GP module at a time, the book reviews real GP users' issues and how BI can be used to resolve or improve them. Encompassing these real-life examples, the book reviews what BI to use and why, what BI tool was used and why, and how the results are used to solve problems and improve business success. This book will provide you with the tools to help you identify your BI need and a way to customize your end results in line with your business needs.

The other book is Microsoft Dynamics GP Workflow 2.0 by Ian Grieve, it is a simple, straight-forward, brief and yet comprehensive knowledge reference regarding the new workflow module introduced with GP 2013 R2. This book introduces the concepts of workflow and moves onto Workflow 2.0. It covers the creation of both simple and complex document based workflow processes, a non-document based workflow, how users interact with the workflow process, including email notifications and email actions, before wrapping up with a step-by-step install and verification of the Web Services for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
